I was born and raised in Thief River Falls and had the opportunity to move to Grand Rapids area to continue practice. Growing up I experienced firsthand the importance of staying up to date and proficient in medicine. My experience has encouraged me to always stay up on the latest practice skills. I grew up on a small family farm and enjoy fixing just about anything. I continue to find creative solutions to everyday problems encountered as a general surgeon. Living in the Grand Rapids area allows me to work and play without leaving my backyard. My wife and I enjoy being on the water in the summer and the snow in the winter. I look to give the highest quality care to the people I see every day.
